1976 Fender American Stratocaster Natural
Very rare and original 76 stratocaster. Original electronics (pickups, 3-pos switch looks like original, as even see factory dust), excellent condition at all, original finish, never seen this condition on 70's strats before, looks like it had one owner who played twie maybe on it, frets are in excellent condition. Collector's grade! Impossible to find in this condition!
I thought it has non-original body, because it looks like one-piece, checked - it's original and lightweight (below 8 lbs!!) which are VERY rare on 70's, it has 2-piece ash lightweight body with two awesome matched pieces!!!
This guitar plays soooo smooth and with amazing ease and sure to please. I did notice the there is a additional pick guard screw hole that someone at the factory must have made and is located at the point of the upper bout near the neck position FYI. I also noticed that the factory was not real specific in trimming the pickup routings at the edges which is not uncommon in this decade of production for post CBS era guitars . No major faults with the guitar other than some minor scrapes as normal wear . 45 Year Old Fender Stratocaster - just WOW! See pics, guys!!!
